  Our Pure Zinc SPF 50 is certified reef safe because it contains zero harmful chemicals that damage coral reefs. Specifically, it's free from oxybenzone, octinoxate, octocrylene, and parabens—chemicals proven to cause coral bleaching and disrupt marine ecosystems. Instead, we use 25% non-nano zinc oxide, which sits on your skin's surface and doesn't leach into oceans. You can swim, snorkel, and dive knowing you're protecting both your skin and our precious coral reefs.

• Is this sunscreen safe for babies and children?

  Yes! Our Pure Zinc formula is safe for children 6 months and older. Zinc oxide is one of the ingredients recommended by The Skin Cancer Foundation for children's sunscreen because it's gentle, hypoallergenic, and doesn't absorb into their developing systems. For babies under 6 months, sun avoidance (shade, protective clothing) is recommended as the primary protection method. We do however offer a specific Baby and Kids Sunscreen as part of the Pure range you may also want to look at.

• Will this leave a white cast on my skin?
