I bought these for my three daughters to use on a sunny holiday where we would spend a lot of time in the water. They hate putting in sun cream normally but loved putting these on and enjoyed the "war paint' like effect. It stayed on all day and when it did rub off with snorkel masks etc it was easy to see and re-apply. I will certainly buy these again! Maybe not the blue but that is my personal taste.
We run through a ton of sunscreen every summer keeping our several families 12-16 kids sunburn free. We put down a lotion base layer and then use these sticks. Most kids are into the colors, and it helps us visual see that they need to reapply in areas that burn easily. This is a staple for our River and beach trips. If the kids over apply, I use makeup remover at the end of the day to remove any residue. We go through at least 2 - 3 packs of these per summer.
My grandkids easily burn on the face directly under eyes. Used this all summer on them and worked perfectly. They often fight over what color to use and let me apply with no issues
My daughter and I saw some kids in line at Disney World painting these zinc sticks on their face to protect them from the sun, and my daughter HAD to have them. Every time we go to our neighborhood pool or spend the day at Disney my daughter gets so excited to paint her face, and they are always a big hit with people asking us where they can buy some too! They are definitely a little pricey, but I understand they are cleaner for your skin and kids love putting them on. Win!
